Water Gold Leaf Gilding Step by Step Process:
Take some amount of gelatin in distilled water
Use alcohol to degrease the surface
You can use Graphigum to protect the gesso from unnecessary bolo
Put the gelatin in bain-marie
For exact and accurate precision use a jewelry scale
Keep some gelatin in a syringe for bonding solution
Now we will have to mix red bole with the gelatin solution
Apply 2 layers of and water 2 ml bonding solution
Fifth layer of the bolo solution up to 16 layers.
Clean the graphigum that protected the gesso
Polish the bolo with sand paper
The solution for the first layer of gold: 15 ml distilled water- 7-5 ml alcohol 96 degree- 15ml and mix the 8 drops of gelatin solution.
Applying Gold Leafing: First layer use Real 22kt Gold Leaf Start applying the gold leafing through the area and complete the first layer of the frame.
Polishing the first layer of the gold on the frame through the interior.
Applying the second the layer of 24kt real gold leaf
